Te Reo o te Pā Harakeke is a research project that began in 2017 that sought to understand the factors that contribute to successful intergenerational transmission of the Māori language in the home. The project focused on the most effective strategies, methods, and resources in establishing and maintaining the Māori language as the first language in the home with the intention of raising Māori speaking children.
One of the outputs from this project is a resource book which was created for the whānau who participated in the research. We think it can help other whānau too, so Te Ipukarea has decided to make it available as a free downloadable pdf.
