TĀMATA TOIERE
Tāmata Toiere is a comprehensive, free-to-access, online digital repository of waiata and haka. The website has the capacity to hold print, images, and media files, both audio and visual. This means that those who use the site could potentially have all the information about a composition in one place, including the lyrics, an explanation of the context behind the composition and the reasons it was composed, a biography of the composer, an audio file, a video file, any photos of relevance, and a list of references for further study.
We are currently working on collating more content for the website, which includes further compositions and explanations by Dr. Tīmoti Kāretu. If you wish to contribute to Tāmata Toiere as a composer or collectively as part of a kapa haka, then please do not hesitate to contact us.
