TE HIRINGA TAKETAKE
The Te Hiringa Taketake project is a literature review about the efficacy of creating a Māori and Pacific student online mentoring programme in Te Ara Auaha, Faculty of Design & Creative Technologies, AUT. The project explores the impact of education on Māori in Aotearoa, government strategies, mentoring programmes internationally and student support initiatives in universities nationally. The project also investigates virtual online learning platforms and proposes a virtual platform for mentoring Māori and Pacific students in the faculty.
